Self Help Leaflets – here you can find information leaflets on a variety of mental health conditions e.g. stress, postnatal depression, post traumatic stress, self harm, health anxiety.


SPOA – Single Point of Access: If you would like to self refer for talking therapies to help with anxiety and depression.

Samaritans – If you are struggling with your mental health and would like someone to talk to someone, 24/7 service.

MHIST Bolton – Mental Health Independent Support Team offering free talking therapy, mindfulness sessions, self help groups, craft and social groups. Advocacy service to help people with mental health benefit forms, bus pass applications and help with accessing mental health services.



Be Kind To My Mind – Bolton mental health support

Kooth – Online mental health support providing 1:1 text based counselling. Age: 11-25 years old

Childline – A free, private and confidential service to discuss any issues a child or young person is going through.
